Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha) :- Ashwagandha is one of the most valuable herbs in the Ayurvedic medical system. As reported, the unique property of Ashwagandha is its mind calming effect. The major biochemical constituents of Withania from which its primary medicinal properties emanate, are certain alkaloids and lactones called withanolides.

Mode Of Action : - It reduces stress. As per ayurvedic concept is concerned stress is a condition that occurs in our body due to vata dosha vitiation. It may help body to attain such stability especially where vata imbalance is concerned. It is blessed with is the power to strengthen our nervous system. The protective action of phyto-constituents helps in inhibiting the convulsions and wobbly movements of the body caused due to disturbances in the central nervous system (CNS). It may used to reduce tension and anxiety, over-excitability and hysterical states. It is calming without exerting too sedative an effect and is practically non-addictive. The drug have a regulatory effect on the autonomic nervous system - one fraction has a suppressant effect, another stimulant one, so that in combination they have an amphoteric effect. It may also be applied locally as a treatment for cramps and other muscle tensions.

Contraindication :-

• Patients who are allergic to above ingredient of the product.
• Ashwagandha may potentiate the sedative effect of barbiturates.  You may feel as if you want to sleep more if you take Ashwagandha and pentobarbital (medicine used to help you sleep). 
• Pregnant women should avoid this herb, and if you are breastfeeding, speak with your doctor before taking Ashwagandha. 
• Do not take Ashwagandha if you have leukemia and are being treated with cyclophosphamide (a "chemo" medicine). Your medicine may be causing these symptoms which may mean you are allergic to it: Feeling cold (decrease in body temperature) or upset stomach. Don't use it during severe and acute inflammatory conditions (usually acute infections) except in degenerative disorders like arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout.

Jyotishmati contains triterpenoids zeylasterone, Mal III A, MalI III B, and seylasteral. Jyotishmati have therapeutic value for anxiety as well as anti-inflammatory and sedative properties. Celastrus paniculatus helps for learning and memory It also enhances level of memory and levels of metabolites in the brain.
