Phyllanthus niruri (Bhumi amalaki) :- It shows hepatoprotective action. It inhibits Hepatitis B virus growth. Stimulates appetite and relieves inflammation of hepatic parenchyma. Bhumiamla increases the appetite, is digestant, laxative and a liver stimulant. It is beneficial in cough, asthma, urinary diseases, jaundice, malaria and enlargement of liver and spleen. Bhumiamla  has shown clinical efficacy in Viral Hepatitis B.

Mode Of Action :- It may inhibits endogenous DNA polymerase of hepatitis B virus and binds to the surface antigen of hepatitis B virus. Boerhavia diffusa (Punarnava) :- Used in Liver diseases and as diuretic .It balances all doshas (vata, pitta and kapha) in the body. Being a good liver stimulant, fresh punarnava leaves are used to cure viral jaundice.
